WHAT WE COLLECT

When you sign up: your email address and name (via Google sign-in or email). When you use the product: your business description, service area, typical deal value, target customer criteria, and the companies and contacts our system discovers for you. Automatically: pages visited, device type and browser, via cookie-free web analytics. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

To generate your lead report: your answers drive the search; your report is stored so you can access and download it. To improve the product: aggregate, anonymised usage patterns (average report size, common industries) help us improve search quality. We never train AI models on your individual business data or report contents. To communicate with you: transactional messages only (report ready, payment confirmation) by email or WhatsApp. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. To process payments: Razorpay handles all payment processing. We store your payment reference and plan status. We never see or store card details.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their marketing. We do not use your report data (your criteria, your leads, your contacts) to pitch you other services. Number 1 Solutions operates CloseBy Leads and shows a generic notice about its services inside the product; that notice is identical for every customer and is never based on your report contents, search criteria or business profile. We do not use your data to build competitor profiles or share insights across customers.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (compact list)

• Database and authentication provider (Singapore region): stores your account and report data, encrypted at rest.
• AI processing providers: turn your business description into search queries and extract company and contact information from public web pages. Their terms apply to the text sent to them.
• Business directory providers: look up publicly listed business phone numbers and addresses.
• Web search providers: search publicly available web pages for company information.
• Email verification providers: check that business email addresses are deliverable.
• Razorpay: processes payments under its own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: hosts the application and provides cookie-free analytics.

None of these providers receives your name, email or account details. They receive only the search queries and company names needed to build your report.

DATA RETENTION

Account and report data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account we delete your data within 30 days; encrypted backups may persist up to 90 days. Payment records are kept for 8 years as required by Indian tax law.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE DPDP ACT 2023

You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing ganesh@number1solutions.in or messaging +91 8454840507 on WhatsApp. We respond within 72 hours. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal may mean we can no longer provide the service. You may complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you believe your data has been mishandled.

DATA SECURITY

All traffic is over HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure providers. Production access is restricted to the sole proprietor. Row-level security ensures customers can only access their own data.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. For a material change in how we use your data, we notify you by email or in-product before it takes effect.
